I've been proud to be of service to client families in my own business as well as helping to build strong companies for others who are service oriented. The job satisfaction during the years has been most gratifying and I hope I've helped some folks along the way. I've also had some wonderful support for doing what I've done from a certain "Miss Thackeray."

Funeral service teaches those who embrace it as a career many principles and values. The real one to remember however is that you only get one opportunity to get it right the first time - there are no "do-overs."
The next time you think you work harder than anyone else you know, just pause a moment and read a chapter of "How The West was Won." The forgotten sacrifices made by those original pioneers and cowboys humbles a person rather quickly.
Growing up in a small mid-west Canadian town (population 125), the last of 12 children, gave me a solid grounding and an appreciation for the way people take care of each other. Agricultural roots are something that really prepares you for whatever life can hand out. I've been fortunate to be blessed by God with a faith that gets me through most everything, but like others there are those days I think "The Big Guy" has gone on vacation. Then things turn around and I know He's back again (He actually never left !).
